How do I run a Contact Import campaign?
If you have a list of email addresses with their associated URL, you can run a Contact Import Campaign. Much like the Website Import, a Contact Import will allow you to turn the data that you already have into viable outreach opportunities. The list can be created in an excel document, but must be saved as a .CSV(Comma-separated value) file to be able to upload(Please see example below). Once the list is imported, Pitchbox will associate the emails with the URLS and create an opportunity based on the data*.
*Please note: This means that when you do a bulk upload of data, your list may contain very raw, and sometimes irrelevant websites. How Pitchbox determines whether or not these sites are relevant comes down to several factors. One factor may be that an item on your URL import already exists within that project in Pitchbox. When this happens Pitchbox will deduplicate the opportunity. Another factor that would cause an opportunity to not be eligible for an import is that it doesn’t meet the Quality Metrics that you have set up during the initial campaign upload.
Basic Contact Import Example:
*To run a Contact Import Campaign you must have at least an email and URL to create an opportunity.
**Please note that when an Opportunity (URL) has more than one email that you wish to attach, you must do a separate entry for each email (notice Sam and Keith above). When uploaded it will create one opportunity for http://mnop.com, and associate both Sam and Keith’s email with said opportunity.

** If you choose to include personalization fields during the campaign setup, make sure that you follow the steps to properly associate them with their aligned opportunities.
